I hope you guys are all able to enjoy the nice weather (well, at least we have had nice weather here...hopefully you have too!). Anyway, I have been really busy so far this summer, but now everything is starting to slow down. I am taking a summer class for 2 weeks starting the week after the 4th of July. Then, after that, I am going to North Carolina to the beach for a few days...I am SO excited!
Well, after losing my first 3 pounds, I have seemed to remain the same for this past week...which is better than gaining weight, so I can not complain. I just bought the DVDs, "Walk Away the Pounds" and "Yoga for Beginners". I am going to start those tomorrow! There is also a great park (those of you who live in MD might know this...if you don't know this, you should go here!) called Centennial Park. There is a path around a lake (about 2.5 miles). It is such a nice walk, and almost completely covered with trees, so you are in the shade. It is a great place to take your dog for a walk too! I am going to try to walk there whenever I can.
Are you guys going to do anything fun over the summer? Hopefully you are!!! Summer is a time to relax and refresh!
I also have another reason for being motivated! I found out that I might possibly be able to go (for free!) to New Zealand and Fiji next summer!!!! I can go hiking, skiing, swimming in the ocean...etc! I am going to use this as an extra form of motivation!!
