I've started exercising!

I'll admit it. I've lost almost 120 pounds without exercising. Partly because I have bad knees and I'm afraid of hurting them. However, a big part is sheer laziness. It's just EASIER to stay on the couch with my laptop and TV.

You don't have to exercise to lose weight. I'm living proof. However, you do have to exercise to be healthy. It's time for me to take that to heart.

I bought Coach Nicole's Cardio Blast DVD. Wow, one of her 10 minute workouts really kicks my butt. I am so out of shape. I'm gonna fix that, though.

I also have the Sparkpeople Fitness Starter Kit on the way. It was backordered, but it just shipped today. I'm excited to try it out.

    Yeah it's crazy! I heard on the radio the other day that you can be skinny but could be just as unhealthy as an over weight person. I thought that was weird. I never thought as a skinny person to be unhealthy but it makes totally sence when you think about it!

  Good for you! :-) I agree with you on the exercising although my weight doesn't seem to budge unless I increase the amount I exercise! It is a matter of becoming healthier!

I'm not a big fan of exercise either. I've never understood how people enjoy it. But after losing the first 25 lbs moving around more got easier. And I'm now seeing - that while exercise is still not my favorite activity it really helps speed up the weight loss factoc & it's helping to tone my wimpy muscles.

Congrats on taking the plunge!! It's not so bad & really it does get easier to do the more you do it.
