Okay - this is all well and good and I've been drinking lemon water for all of these reasons...so why did my dietitian just suggest a detox soup that calls for alkaline water (the opposite of acidic?)...seems counter intuitive...it's like I'm negating the lemon water....PS Love the bunnies...way too cute! I have an Easter card with this image I've kept for a couple decades with exactly this image.

Cool. I have been drinking lemon water for months now and had never read anything listing the benefits. I also drink a teaspoon or two of apple cider vinegar each morning in some grape juice. There is a lot of information out there on the benefits of it. Very similar to lemons. I have definitely noticed benefits, but thought they were all coming from the vinegar. Good to know the lemon is good too. emoticon

Thanx for this information. Is lemon juice with hot water healthy - doesn't the hot water destroy the vitamin C?

Oh my goodness! Thank you for posting this. Drinking water is one of my most 'challening' things to do to be healthy. I have been buying lemons to put in it. Also, will add one more reason..... the lemons look so pretty in the water. Reminds me of fresh lemonade and a welcoming, warm feeling like someone has served you fresh lemonade....lol.

Again, thanks for reinforcing why I should be drinking my water and to go buy more lemons!!

Hugs,
Carol
