Yes, my friends influence my eating habits. Yes they do...but if I was stronger, more determined, more focused, it wouldn't matter what my friends are eating. Whether it looked tastier than my peanut butter sandwich with 6 baby carrots or not, I should be able to resist. Not...I have a weak resistance. I need to focus more on my goals and not my taste buds. An occasional indulgence is acceptable, so I am learning, portion is key and exercise. I am learning a lot, it is not always easy to put into practice but every step will get me closer to permanent changes. I guess the biggest thing that I have learned is to not give up and keep going. Thanks Sparkpeople for providing all the things you do.
