So, my family has gone back home and I now have my life back! This is super exciting, as now I can try and resume my quest to a healthier lifestyle. After finishing my thesis and winding down, I definitely think it's time to get that going again. This weekend, I started jogging! I'm not going to far yet (only 1 mile at a time), but I am jogging the whole way. Also, the 1 mile route I have is tough. It's downhill one way, but the way back home is entirely uphill. This is a half a mile hill we're talking about. It's not the best choice, but living out of town, it's the safest route for me to take. Also, it's a challenge. For now, I am working on my endurance and trying to decrease my time. Once I am comfortable with this, I will try and work up to doing the route twice. I think I might also try and go to the track to run a couple of times a week to build up my endurance a bit as well. Also, as of today I am back tracking my food and trying to jump back into this lifestyle headfirst.

    Sounds like my Quest for Mail--those hills on the way home are doozies, but well worth it for the workout.
