On Saturday I ran in my first 5k at the North Judson Mint Festival! I was really excited. Unfortunately I was visiting with family this weekend also. I got 5 hours sleep maybe the night before. There were more people there then I had thought. It was small compared to many of the other 5k s I had heard about. Only 80 to 85 poeple.

It was really humid but atleast it was 7 in the morning. I started slow with my cousins that I was running with. My pace was a little quicker. There was a stretch of the course that was cobble stone and brick. That was a little rough. But I made it and finished with a time of 36:35.
