Here I am loggig my food faithfully and staying within my caloric range most of the time and the scale didn't move again. Even the couple of times I misbehaved, I was still under the amount that my body supposedly uses up during a 24-hour period.

Hmmm, I seem to have the same problem and the more research I do, the more I realize that for me, it's hormones ---- stress, lack of sleep, timing of food and types of food have all an impact on us and our hormones. Of course, it could be other things like weights, high sodium intake, too much water etc. Maybe doing some research and focusing on what it might be and trying to get in tune with your body more, might at least distract you until the scale moves again. And until then ( for a little while) putting the scale away and focusing on improving the quality of your diet might give you some peace of mind. I know how hard it is mentally to stick to something when you feel as though nothing is working! Believe me, I'm right there with you. I finally was able to focus on just livng my life and putting the whole thing on 'hold'while working on eating better, sleeping more and just my overall well being. The happier my body is, the more willing it will be to drop pounds!

There is still a little swelling in my knee, but other than that it looks good. It makes me wonder though how heavy a titanium knee ist. Maybe I have lost some weight and just don't know it.

There is more swelling in my right foot and I can't do a lot of the exercises I like because it just hurts too much. I think that is my major problem. My body has gotten used to the other exercises I normally do. They even had to eliminate some exercises at Physical Therapy because of that darn foot. Hopefully, I'll be getting some treatment for it next month.

Hang in there, Sabine. I've had times like this so I know how frustrating it is. If you get too frustrated with your plateau, maybe you can review the ways to break through a plateau and get back to losing again. Is your body still adjusting from your knee surgery? You've done so great in your recovery from that, but maybe there is still some fluid retention.

Put your nutrition page up and ask for help to avoid frustration.. Sometimes we over see small mistakes that do count and having other pairs of eyes can find stuff that could work better.. You have come along way, also get busy using your tape measure, sometimes when the scales don't move much cms can be moving..
