Week 1 Run 3

Week 1 Day 3 - 6:40 am 7/14/06 just over 2 miles 37 min
Well today almost kicked me! It was tough. I was really panting at the end. I shortened my over all distance (turned around earlier.) I think next week when I don't have more people helping to watch the kids I'll be able to shorten it so overall I'm only out of the house 30 min in the morning. I figure I'm not doing this for exercise I'm doing it to run longer. I can get other exercise. Also I need to not leave too early and get home in time that my husband can watch the kids before he has to go to work.

Tammy, I'm totally with you on the being ALONE! When I ride the stationary bike normally the kids are around watching TV or I'm reading or listening to music. When I run now its just me alone with my thoughts (when I'm not working too hard to think LOL!) I could certainly use a little more alone time in my life.

While my in-laws are here I've been going out for a walk with them every morning too. So now that I've finished my run I'll go for a slow 2 -3 mile walk.
