Hanging in there

Thursday, June 18, 2009

Been a lot of bumps in the road lately, and the best I can do is hang in there sometimes. However, eating healthy is a big help in dealing with daily stresses. Even though the urge for comfort food might raise its head, it's not worth the sugar hangover. Luckily, I don't have cravings anymore. It's mostly the night eating that I'm still battling. Hope everyone has a good day.

You are doing great! Keep up the positive attitude about food and you never again will wake up with a sugar hangover. Good to see you are still here... Do you remember that poster from the 70's with the the cat hanging from a bar that said Hang in there baby? With your kitties in the back ground and your subject matter lately I think of that poster... so I will say the same to you... Hang in there Baby... emoticon Sondra

Can I ask how much are you working out? Seriously, working out helps reduce stress levels. I used to be on hormones and antidepressants. Right now I only take a cholesterol pill and I don't know for certain if I'll ever be able to quit taking that but it's a goal. With exercise my mood is good and I'm so much more relaxed. Even last week when I got yelled at by my boss (for no logical reason) I remained calm. I also use techniques like putting my worries into a balloon and releasing the string. I wish you well and hope that you stick to your guns. You CAN do this.

Me, too. with the eating at nite. still a problem, but better. Please, continue to hang in there! Hang a great big picture of a fat girl on your fridge, or else, a big Stop sign!....remove all the trigger foods from your kitchen!
....let me help u figure this out, OK? I'm here for you. I want u to succeed, and I know that you can.

Jesse, you are doing good. Keep up the good work. Sometimes there are stumbling blocks in our path. We just have to find our way around them.
