Music For Walking

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

I have to listen to something, usually music, when I walk. I have a newer phone that lets me listen to Pandora radio. But I also listen to "100 A State Of Trance Tunes" that I purchased from Amazon.com. I used to listen to a satellite radio station that played that kind of music but they took that away. This music has a very good beat to it and most songs are upbeat. I really do tend to walk faster and like walking better when I am listening to them. I do sometimes listen to some books from Audible.com but I don't really walk as fast then. Beatport.com is another place to purchase music from and I have a couple of songs from there, my favorite being Fingerpaint(ing) by Digital Witchcraft. Music really keeps me moving and I would be really slow, and unmotivated, without it.

    I couldn't agree more.
I have some NPR podcasts on my ipod but I don't walk nearly as fast
as I do when I am cranking up some tunes.
Unfortunately,
I drowned my ipod a few weeks ago and am still waiting for my new one.
thnx

Music makes the world go round... and makes us tune out things that don't matter. I'm feeling the beat again.. and it's a wondeful thing to share with my SP friends!
