I received a phone call from my daughter's High School yesterday,I was not home and the message was to call them back, right away. Fearing the worst, she missed an exam ,summer school, a failed subject,etc. You all understand, what this could mean to our summer plans.

I had already, agreed to baby sit 2 boys for a dear friend who sister was having surgery, yesterday. She was having a total hysterectomy, because they found a LARGE tumor, yes possibility, Cancer! Actually, just found out from pathology is is benign, and she is now cancer free. Amen. So I got the kids settled in with snacks, and video games, thank the Lord for those machines.

That is when I called the school, the lady said, she would be nominating me for the governing board of the school. Yes, for anyone else this would have been a blessing but for me. Well, not so much, I can't sit on my tongue, never could, can't hold an opinion to myself, if I see greater good then I will speak so that is exactly what I told her. She insisted since, I am involved in at least two other schools, I should consider theirs as well. I said if she was sure. Well , that all finished.

I asked if there was any way to find out if my daughter would be going on to grade 8 , so that our minds would be at rest for the summer. She agreed to let us know if she could find out government marks by Friday. Less then 10 minutes later she called and said...


She had passed and read me her marks in almost every class. Happy Summer
If children , only knew how badly we want great things for them. Praise God!


Oh and my friends surgery went very well, I will continue to pray and will keep everyone who asks informed, as well. So things are better then you think sometimes, Thank you again, Lord. Odassa
