Life is filled with deadlines and pressures. The thing is, it's important to balance all that seriousness with a little fun, and there is not better time for fun then right now. It's summer! So here is a question for you. Have you had any fun Lately?
If your answer is no, then let's step back for a moment. Can you remeber what is to have fun? If the last time you had some serious fun seems like a distant memory, then take some time today, even if it is just to watch kids. Kids have a great sense of fun. It is not a secret world they live in, it is accessible to you.
What does this have to do with losing weight? EVERYTHING! If you are playing, you are more then willing to try new things, like new foods, and less likely to take those small fluctuations so seriously. When you are having fun, there is a wonderful feeling of belonging and of having a place in the world. Kids feel like they can do anything and that is not a bad feeling to have once in a while.
So if you are not having fun, let today be the day you start!
