So yesterday I volunteered at the annual summer games for special olympics and was absolutely inspired. I worked the track and field events. There were 86 year old athletes participating in events! Everyone was supportive of eachother and it is evident that they have been training for months. There was a relay team that finished a 4x100 relay in 49 seconds! There was also a boy who did a 5k in 21 minutes!!!!!! WOW! I am happy to break 40 lol. If individuals can go out there with motorized wheelchairs that are operated by head switches to do the slalom race then there is no excuse for me to quit.
