Maintenance + Strength Training + Cardio = constant reconfiguring!

The title says it all.

I keep my Goal Calories the same but adjust daily for Cardio which burns calories.

The increased Strength Training is what makes my weight fluctuate. But I am tackling the Lunges and Squats seriously now to firm up my legs. I managed to do 30 Walking Lunges yesterday as well as about that many regular Lunges. Did Squats intermittently during the day.

Mind you, I will never have 18 year old legs - heck, I didn't have them when I was 18! But if I can get my jiggle under control a little more, by golly I will at least try.

The increased strength training will firm you up, so don't be afraid of the weight fluctuations.

I, too, am at the maintenance point. At least I think I am. That point is not written in stone but my body seems to be telling me that this is it. Now I am working even more intently on those jiggles.

Your unwavering motivation is so uplifting! The challenge to keep these good habits intact seems daunting at times. When I feel a little shaky, I look at what you're doing and get fired up all over again. This is the blessing - to be able to lift each other and be lifted ourselves to achieve
goals we thought were impossible!

    I could not do all these lunges. My hip would be screaming. But I do admire your ability to change and continue to be successful. You rock girlfriend!

    Don't stress about a pound here or there. Weight fluctuates with or without strengh training! ENJOY the ride.. you deserve it!!! You are living a healthy lifestyle!! What a great place to be - I hope I'm feeling as victorious as you are now, when I'm free enough to enjoy it!! haha! emoticon
