I need to lose this weigh because I cannot look like this forever.

I used to be so healthy looking, and I could wear practically whatever I wanted. I looked GOOD. Now I look awkward and large and gross. I need this gone.

There's a BBQ for my church's young adult small group tomorrow night. I really would like to go, but BBQ means.. BBQ food. Lots of chips, dips, wings, burgers, and endless snacks.

I ALWAYS end up grazing and there's practically no way to track what I'm eating. I'm kind of tempted to not go. I should go, but I need to be super super careful. Hopefully I can get a few miles of running in before I go.

I cannot wait to be skinny again.

As unappealing as this sounds, you could always eat before hand and just go for fellowship. Maybe save room (calorie wise) for a small snack, or dessert. Just a thought.

I know how you feel about remembering what it was like to look good in everything... it's depressing when that all of a sudden seems to change. Pick some healthy items to eat - take a mental note (or a little notebook) and remember everything you've eaten. Just don't go crazy - come back to the computer and log it all in =) I'm sure you won't do too bad if you just keep track and stay away from things that you know are high in calories or fat. emoticon

Social eating is always a challenge. There is nothing wrong with having something to eat at your church BBQ. Just stay withing your calorie range. I know you cannot wait to be skinny again. However, the SparkPeople diet is not a quick-fix, just a permanent one.

Good Luck!

Yours in Him, Bruce

BTW: You are NOT gross! You are a very nice lady.
