WOOHOO!!! Run Down and None to Go!

The day I've been training for for the past four weeks started with a whimper and ended with a bang!

I had an early PT appt today. Usually I do PT in the afternoon after my water work. But today, the Inaugural National Day of Running, it just had to be different. The primary therapist took me through a series of exercises that had me moaning and groaning; however, she did say my range of motion and leg strengh has improved. So, that was enough to send me to the pool in great spirits ready to run.

Which is exactly what I did. I ran 5K at the end of the water aerobics class with the encouragement and cheering on of my fellow seniors in the pool. A couple even ran with me a few laps.

Now that the run is done, I have a new goal to increase my stamina and shoot for 10K!
