Lost my motivation :(

I don't really know when it happened for sure but somewhere over the past 2 months I lost the momemtum I had and now I can't find the motivation to get it started again! I've still been going to the gym 2 times a week (i wish i had a babysitter so that I could go more!) but my food habits have been horrible! Also I was exercising at home almost everyday that i couldn't make it to the gym and that has stopped as well. Instead of exercising i've been moping around the house telling myself i'll start again tomorrow, but tomorrow hasn't come! I've somehow been able to maintain my 30 pound weight loss but i'm feeling discouraged bc my current goal was to be 50 pounds down by August 4th. It's not looking like that is going to happen :( I don't know what to do to get my butt back into gear. I joined the last bootcamp for the month of May thinking that would help bc when i did a bootcamp in January it was a great motivation keeper! But this time around I only lasted like one or two days and got off track and was never able to get back on. I also used to get on here everyday, but now i'm lucky if i get on here a few times a week and even when i do i don't track my food or exercise! Someone please tell me how to get this thing going again!

    I'm right there with you. I have started walking with my mom in the mornings. But with my routine changing at home and no money to shop for groceries... I'm just eating whatever is here. And I have only lost around 10 pounds since January. I'm really getting tired of it. When I was trying to push through the last plateau, and lose of motivation, the one thing that really helped me was setting a new realistic goal. So maybe try to make a goal of losing 5 pounds or 10 pounds and exercising so much in a week.

    At times I lose motivation/momentum. You need to find a goal and work towards it. August 4 will be here before you know it. Don't forget to reward yourself along the way. If you have 20 lbs. to lose, at five pounds get a new magazine subscription. I love my Health and Self Magazines. At ten pounds get yourself a pedicure. At fifteen pounds reward yourself with a pair of shoes, and at twenty, you will need a new outfit! OF course you can substitute any item at any stage. I normally reward myself every ten, but if I need more motivation I add in extra.

    Hey, Mama! Don't you fret you're pretty lil head :) I know just how you feel and you're right, it is tough to find the motivation. I'd like to give you some advice on the matter, but I'm afraid I'm not doing too well either. I did join the Couch to 5K program and signed up for a 5K next weekend, and that has given me a bit of motivation to keep going...I don't want to be the last (or only) fat-ass to cross the finish line, lol! Just remember, you can do it!
