This is for sure the case. I find it so hard to distinguish hunger from being tired when I pass certain signs and keep pushing through the night when I should be winding down....see here I am again. It is after midnight and there always seems to be just one more thing. Turning off the tv (or other electronics) by a certain time should be on my new habits to work on list. Tonite I took a late powerwalk and feel energized still.
So coming back to being tired...I notice that I'll keep eating one thing after another being too tired to recognize that I really don't need to be eating more, but eating rather to keep awake. When I do stop, then do I realize that darn I was tired because I really have no energy to clean up the kitchen or put any leftovers away.
What I need are good options so I can modify my behavior. I've started reading more. But often it has been magazines that have nutritional subjects or even food ads - not helpful!
Maybe there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything.
