EMERGENCY PIZZA

Friday, May 29, 2009

TODAY HUBBY AND I DECIDED TO CLEAN UP SOME CLUTTER AND REARRANGE FURNITURE. PRETTY SOON THE TIME GOT AWAY AND HUBBY WAS READY TO STEP IN AND RESCUE ME. ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO MORE FOR MYSELF AND STICK RELIGIOUSLY TO THE MEAL PLANS (OR SUBSTITUTES) I COULDN'T (DIDN'T!) RESIST. ESPECIALLY SINCE HE WANTED TO GET MY FAVORITE VEGETARIAN PIZZA. WELL THE BIGGEST THING I WAS AFRAID OF WAS NOT BEING ABLE TO TRACK THIS ITEM. SO I GAVE THE FOOD SEARCH A TRY, LIKE I HAVE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE. THERE WAS GOOD NEWS! THE PIZZA WAS LISTED AND THE CALORIES, ETC. WERE NOT SO BAD. AND THIS TIME I DID RESIST THE SODA THAT I USUALLY HAVE WITH PIZZA. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I THINK THIS IS PROGRESS IN A WAY. AT LEAST, I GOT SOME STUFF DONE AND DIDN'T STRESS TOO MUCH TRYING TO BE PERFECT.

YAY!! I think it's great progress! We had pizza last night for dinner and I filled up on a salad and only had one slice! It's huge when you can learn to control those "little" things! I never thought I could just eat one slice of pizza! Good for you! emoticon

You too? A friend of ours taught my hubby and I how to make fresh dough (before joining SP), and we had a thick crust left over. No idea how to track it, whatsoever! There was no meat though. We are definitely making progress though! Tomorrow's gonna be a great SP day!

    That is actually fantastic progress!

You accomplished something (cleanning clutter is not easy) and you didn't go overboard on the splurge! Great job!
