Week 2

Weigh-in this morning: Looks like I lost 1 lb-ish and maybe a half inch off of my hips.

My work slacks which were becoming anything BUT slack are fitting much better now. I don't have to strain to get them buttoned or have to admire a muffin top in the mirror before work anymore. Victory!

I got the Jillian Michaels DVDs in the mail over the weekend and I've done BFBM once (almost killed me, but I actually made it all the way through with a few breathers) and Level 1 of 30 day shred twice. I'm scheduled for another round of BFBM tonight.

I didn't get my workout in on Tuesday due to a family emergency, so that will become my "day off" this week.

Also trying to talk the Fiancé into doing the Couch to 5K program with me.. I hate running and he USED to love it.. so maybe it will work for both of us if we try it together. We'll see.. but I'm going to need to switch up my cardio during the summer some or I'll get bored.

ETA: Spellcheck doesn't like "BFBM" but does suggest "BOOFHEAD" which is interesting..

    I really like your blog posts! We seem to have some similar challenges (eating half a pizza because your boyfriends does, hehe) and similar goals. My fiance and I don't have a date set yet, but I want to have the weight off before going to pick out my dress. I hope things are going well for you this week with your new program, you'll have to let me know how you like BFBM as I'm looking for something new too. Take care!
