I have been asking myself .... when I pray, do I pray prayers so big that I’ll have to go to heaven to see the answers? It says in the Word that “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!” Ephesians 3:20 (Message Version)
Putting my expectations (and thus limitations) on God and what He will do to answer my prayers, however, is not the way I want to wait patiently and expectantly for his answers.
As Oswald Chambers says, is the Son of God praying in me, or am I dictating to Him?....Prayer is not simply getting things from God, that is a most initial form of prayer; prayer is getting into perfect communion with God. If the Son of God is formed in us as we are being renewed day by day, He will press forward in front of our common sense and change our attitude to the things about which we pray.
This is how I want to pray BIG prayers!
