Well, I have been sparking for 9 months and finally found it a good time to re-acquaint myself with the sparkpage. Here's the scoop:
Moved back to CT from Boston in late August. I was at 225 lb.
Instantly, I started to drop the weight. Within 4 months, I was down 37 lb. to 188.
Unfortunately the holidays, birthdays, and general laziness caught up with me. I wasn't too happy at my job and started gaining back. I promised myself I would never be over 200 again, but I got pretty close, up to 199 at one point.
Now I am back on the straight and narrow, and HOORAY! I have lost nearly 11 of those lbs. that I put back on in early 2009. Summer is peeking out and I am coasting through. Right now I am hovering at 188.5. This week I started training for my first 5k (hoo boy!) and I am trying to get at least 1 mile of walk/jog a day.
I project that I will (hopefully) be weighing in around 160 by labor day, and I have a great team of loved ones supporting me and some even joining me in the journey to good health. Yay!
