I've been a member of Sparkpeople for almost a half year now. You wouldn't call me an active member - I don't publish blogs, don't participate in challenges, and you wouldn't see my name on message boards.
But I do find Sparkpeople very helpful and I do believe it helps me to successfully continue my weight loss journey. I subscribed to blog posts of several Spark members and follow their weight loss journey. I read new articles that are sent to my email. When I hit plateau I get motivation from the stories of Spark members who reached their goals.
I joined Sparkpeople at 237 pounds and today I'm at 183.5 pounds. I still have a lot more pounds to lose. But I'm pretty confident that this time I will be able to reach my goal.
