Training Run #11

I ran on Monday and my achilles still hurt but other than that, the run wasn't too bad. I did get a little distracted because I was using my pedometer watch for the first time and forgot to set my timer so I couldn't really tell how fast I was running, which was the idea, since I was running on a measured course. That kind of bummed me out a little. Also, I think I will have to cut down on all other types of cardio while I train because my achilles is not really healing like I would like. I'm not in a lot of pain but it is a little uncomfortable when I run. I ice and take Tyenol so its okay for now. We will see how that goes. I am shooting for a June 7th race, so once that is over, I can really rest for a while before I train for the next race.
