My significant other

Yes and no/ My husband has finally decided to watch what he eats and I am so ever grateful. I make sure he gets his healthy breakfast and dinner. He has been pretty good with his lunch. I try to help him, but I am not getting the favors in return. I need to exercise, and I have asked him to walk with me, but he never gets around to it.
He is a lot more disciplined than I am and sometimes I get a little envious. On the other hand, I am overjoyed because he looks good and is healthier. That's what I really want for the both of us.

Pooh, I could certainly relate to you saying you had a heart attack and have to follow a low sodium, low sugar, lo char hydrate food plan. Me too, except I am also diabetic!
I had Congestive Heart Failure the middle of October, last year. My weight really blossomed about 20-30 pounds of fluid, with 2% hart function. I was hospitalized and given Lasx for water retention. My weight has gone steadily up as the dose of Lasx changed. I went from taking 80 mg down to 20 mg which may be too little. I'll find out tomorrow when I see the Cardiologist.
I put you down as a new SparkFriend, I hope that's OK with you. It seems like we might have a lot in common!

Men overall, lose weight faster than we do. It isn't fun but the truth. It sucks but it just is. I don't like it any better then you do. My husband went on a fast, lost 10 pounds, and just kept going. Makes me mad how easy he looses weight. but it is what it is.
shrug. I wish it was different. He has lost 30 pounds without trying. I have lost twenty in two years. What's up with that???
Welcome to the team!
