2nd 5k done and improved! Yay!

I completed my second 5k last weekend and I ran it 3 minutes faster (35:00)!!! I was amazed, especially when this second race had more hills!

My next race is 7 weeks away and my goal is to run it with at least the same pace.

I'm looking for a good 10k to train for. Maybe I'll be ready for that in the fall? I'm also thinking about training for the 1/2 marathon that is next spring!

Anyone have 1/2 or full marathon experience? It seems like a big goal but I know it can be done with the proper training.

    WTG! I am training for a full marathon, and will be doing a half at the end of July so that I am used to the distance and can get an official time. I picked up Jeff Galloway's book 'Marathon: You Can Do It!' The key is to only run a few days per week, and to take walk breaks.
