I did my weekly 1 hr run today even though I did not feel like it. I kept reminding myself about how good I was going to feel when I had done it... and I do feel very good for having done it! Another thing I like to do to psyche myself is tell myself I'm a machine and, I know this sounds crazy, but that I'm special because I can run for one hour... In reality I hate to say I'm better than anyone else but when it comes to motivating myself I have to tell myself something to make me feel "hard core"... I guess that's a good way to put it... I like to feel hard core and knowing that I can run for an hour and lift for 30 minutes makes me feel strong and tough.
