I restarted doing Jillian's 30 day shred dvd 3 days ago, (I was a week into it before when I sprained my ankle - not working out, but by being dumb and not turning on the light ). Anyway - I definitely CANNOT call this fun - but I am getting great satisfaction in accomplishing it. I don't know about other's who have done this - but I am amazed at what a tough 20 minutes this is - it seems to last forever! I have had to modify the program temporarily as to not reinjure myself - instead of jumping jacks and skipping, I am jogging in place but doing the same arm movements as the exercise. Nest week i will try the proper exercises.
Last night, DH and I spent 40 minutes working out together - one on the treadmill, 1 on the elliptical for 20 minutes and then trading for another 20 minutes. It was great - I hope we do this 20 20 date more often!! Now that we have moved back into the house (renos still not finished, but the house is quite liveable now) we are spending more time together. Iti s really nice. Our home gym isn't finished, but we set the equipment up anyway so we can use it. Good stuff! If we can just keep Keith from taking the mats apart and running his hotwheels down the treadmill! LOL
