I really enjoyed my workout with the Wii My Fitness Coach -- but apparently some of the cardio exercises were a bit too high impact for my right knee, and the cooldown segment of barely a minute did not provide sufficient stretching -- and I didn't go ahead and do it on my own. The day after the workout, my knee was sore.
It was better this morning, but I made sure that I didn't do any of the hopping/kicking sequences. I kicked, but from a stationary position, not landing with all my weight on only one leg, and I didn't do the "skip forward and back," I just walked. And then I made sure that I stretched thoroughly afterward.
This isn't a problem I've had before. . . I'm trying to find the right balance of keeping active while not putting more stress on it.
