Sparkpeople To Go, Please.

I lost the momentum again. I have not been tracking food or exercising. I really want this, but it is so hard to keep it exciting. Especially if all of my encouragement is coming from you guys on here. Sometimes, I get bored sitting in front of the computer all day. The weather is getting nice and I get side tracked by the edible sights and smells around me when I'm out.

Today, the fam and I went shopping for my Mother's Day present; the new Nintendo DSi. I recently sold my Nintendo DS to upgrade to the DSi. The difference? the DSi has a camera and MP3 Player built in. But there's more. I downloaded the internet feature and to test the connection, what site did i go to? SP, of course.

I am so excited to use my DSi first thing tomorrow. I am still able to use the food and nutrition trackers, read articles and post messages. When I want to get my log in points, it doesn't show the actual wheel, but big deal, I can do it at home if I really want to see the wheel spin.

So the point is, with the weather getting warmer, I can go out with little or no worries. You all will be right in my bag reminding me that the drive thru isn't such a good idea, or maybe since I have a little time to walk in the park, why not?

I lose the momentum it seems every other day. As long as you don't give up that is all that matters. Keep coming to us for support

Just keep doing what you can every day until you get your spark back. My new motivational quote is: "Being defeated is often temporary, giving up makes it permanent."

Never give up!

You can do this! There will be times when it seems like you're just spinning your wheels but if you continue to push through it, you will find that everything becomes second nature and you're doing it (tracking and exercising) without thinking too much about it. I wish I had a way to take SP on the road with me too! That's kind of a neat way to stay in touch! I don't know if this will help you - but I'm starting to look at food (sometimes!) in relation to how much is this going to cost me? How expensive is it calorie-wise? Is that "expense" worth it? Keep on taking those small steps - they will add up to that ultimate step!
