Wow, what a difference! I've had orthotics since 1986, and by that I mean, I'm using the same pair the foot doc made for me in 1986. They've held up well, but just aren't quite doing the job for me. My right foot has been bothering me (plantar faciitis) since Oct. So, I finally found out if my insurance would pay for them (they did, 100%, yippee!) and I got them today. My doc said I might have sore legs and problems adjusting, or maybe not.
Maybe not was right! I walked for an hour tonight, yes, I was getting sore, but it was a more general soreness like the pain I get from my bunions, and now 2 hours later, it feels really good.
We'll see how it feels when I get up in the morning, that's the true test, that first step out of bed...
