it's finally coming together

I've been working on my house instead of worrying about walking on the treadmill or doing an exercise video. It's working really well for me. Spending hours at a time gardening - digging, bending, hoeing, shoveling dirt, walking back to the house for something. Finishing the bathroom project that was started oh so long ago. At the end of the day, I stretch and first thing in the morning I stretch. The scale has started to move a little again. At the end of the day, I've used my body and know that I've had an excellent workout. And it was fun.

    that the spirit! keep moving. it doesn't have to be structured like an hour of running, 1/2 hour of jogging, etc. do whatever you can do and stay active! i'm glad you're making progress. keep in touch! best regards, nancy

    Yes! Exercise that accomplishes something other than just burning off my calories is the best kind for me too. Why work up a sweat if my house looks just as bad at the end of it when I can put that energy to good use?
