OMG! I never thought I'd actually do it - I just set the timer for 60 minutes in case something good came on TV while I was stepping, so the machine wouldn't cut off in the middle of whatever I was watching. As (bad) luck would have it, someone had tuned in to Wolf Blitzer at the gym, so no television distractions. I must have been distracted by something though, because the first 20 mintues flew by. By the time I hit 30 I was determined to see how long I could go. I almost didn't make it, but managed to hang on until the very end. Followed that with some nice stretching and a 30-minute upper body workout. I'm feeling pretty smug right now. I guess I really can do lots of stuff I once thought was impossible. Now, if I could only quit shaking . . .
