pride comes before a fall but not in this case.?

Thursday, April 23, 2009

you know the old saying of pride comes before a fall,i say but not in this case with a question mark while the fall in this case is a fall of weight and not the usual fall associated with the saying.i am proud that i have managed to stay with this programme and that i have kept off the weight i have lost except for one small hic up.but i am also proud of that hic up because it showed me that i could get over it,except it for what it was and to continue along my journey instead of giving up.i am proud to be participating in all the challenges which goes on in sp and proud of the fact that i have formed some friendships that i might never have had if i hadnīt decided to do something to get my life in order and join sp.so i would like to take this opurtunity to thank all the people i have met on my way here.who have help me to achieve what i have so far and to help me see what i have accomplished as well so that i could be proud of me.we are so often proud of other people, children.husband, family or friends that we never think to be proud of ourselves.we feel it is pretentious or vain.i have learnt here at sp people that i am worth my own praise ,i am worth being proud of.and that is what i am most proud of.the realisation that i am WORTH IT:just like you are ALL WORTH IT each and every one of you.so come on lets all stand up and be proud of ourselves and each other, after all we are all doing something to be proud of .we are all making a better life for our selfs and the people around us.so let pride come before a fall,a fall of weight that is.

Attagirl! You'll get there. Thanks for inspiring me too! Hope to see you around some more. emoticon Yoga is good for gentle exercise and it's brilliant for helping tone up. Have you tried that? You don't have to do the madly difficult stunts! By the way, I'm Jean from the UK. emoticon

That is an awesome blog!!!! You are most definitely worth it.!!! As I was reading toward the end of the blog, I could hear clapping going on (in my head, I know it sounds funny but it is true). If I could send you a soundtrack of hand clapping, I would. Karen, I am sooooo thankful that I have found you in the midst of the SP world. Kudos to you! You are worth it! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
