Do you want the good or the bad news first?

Saturday, April 18, 2009

The good news is that I lost a pound!!!
This is very good right?

The bad news is that it took me 6 weeks to lose this pound…

So, the math tells me that it will take me around 150 weeks (almost 3 years) to lose the other 25 pounds. Is not that bad, what’s the rush anyway? Jeff’s says he will still around, emoticon he he he!

It is hard to change my relationship with food. I eat when I’m very tired or very happy or very sad. My problem is the “very” thing….

And if I ask myself what is the alternative?? None.
There is no way around it. Just through it. I have no choice but to keep going! I will never give up.

Elizabeth, emoticon on eliminating that lb! Don't want to lose it since you may find it again!!! As you get better at eliminating, it won't take as long!!

    Hi There!!

Jut wanted to pop in and thank you for your sweet message on my blog! I love your drawings / pics! They give me an instant shot of happy!

I also love Paul McKenna! I am still applying his principals, minus the unlimited carbs! They just don't work with my particular situation! But I love his mindful eating techniques and his relaxation cd's (and his voice!!!)

I am celebrating your 1lb loss and the perserverance that lead to it!! Just think, you ate what you wanted, treated your body with respect and also melted 4 sticks of butter off your body at the same time! : )

And for that I must say... emoticon emoticon emoticon

Just remember that there are a lot of folks on this site who would give ANYTHING to weigh what you weigh right now!! I am one of them!!!

Be Good To Yourself!

: ) Wendie

Good for you for loosing that pound. I know what you mean with the food thing. Having problems there myself. The holidays really side lined me. I don't have enough restraint through them. Wishing you the best in your journey.
