Ok, so this blog is a bit overdue, but this last week has been pretty big. I was a third of my way through this workout when I got a call that one of our friends passed over from a long battle with cancer. It was a bit of a sudden, expected blow. We went right up to Kyoto to the family's house, where his body was laid out, and people could meet.
At the end of it all, it really helped us focus on what we want out of life, and how to get there. As a result, the rest of the program was put on hold until the other day, where I finally did finish the week. We got a lot of personal things set up for our move home, as well as starting our spring semester.
Tomorrow marks the first full week of teaching, and we are both excited about it all, as this will have the fewest classes we've had and all as schools that are close to home and very high caliber. This will mean less time on trains, and fussing about lessons, and more time on ourselves and getting home in style.
Week seven begins tomorrow, and I'm so amped for it. I've started using my HRM for marking HRs during different exercises and noting what type of training phases I'm spending my time in. I can see in the future marking my recovery time using this method, as I used to with other works, and getting another level out of this program.
Till then, will keep on plugging on and enjoy the journey. Cheers!
