Another day. . .another .2; I'll take it :)

Thursday, April 09, 2009

I weighed this morning, and I was down another 2/10 of a pound. Another baby step toward a healthier me. I can feel good about those little losses now, because I'm making permanent changes in my habits. . .they're not coming back. Little bits add up to a big whole.

Don't get discouraged if it seems like the scale isn't budging. Just keep making your changes, and you'll see and feel the difference. I battle discouragement all the time, but with the help of the Lord, I'm seeing the big picture now. You can't see everything that's going on inside your body, but know that even when you don't SEE the difference, you can FEEL it.

I have fibromyalgia, and I am coping so much better with my pain since I made up my mind I was not going to stay where I was anymore. I've been slowly moving forward ever since, and though I can see some changes, the biggest difference is in how I feel. I've started to get a little more energy, I'm doing more, and my relationship with my husband is improving.

Best of all, my confidence is coming back. I'm getting comfortable in my skin again. You can't put a price tag on that! I already owe so much to Sparkpeople, in the short time I've been part of the community. I can't recommend it enough. . .to everyone I see, lol.

For those of you who are stuck in a rut, or feel like you'll never get there. . .hang in there. Every day is a brand-new start. You CAN do this; just keep reading the information on Sparkpeople, and reaching out when you need encouragement. We're all in this boat together, and together we'll all get to our goals!

God Bless you all :)

You're right it's all about the baby steps! 0.2 is still a loss and if you feel better that's what really matters. We'll all get to our goals if we just stick with it :)
