called the doc

Well went dairy and wheat free for all of march, lost weight for 3 weeks then all came back week 4. I feel better but can't get weight under control. Finally called my doc and made appt. to get some lab work done and make sure that it is not a medical reason causing all my symptoms. I re-introduced wheat and feel good but when I had some milk, boy was that the wrong thing to do!

    Yea, I had a round of that back when I was pregnant with my son, and for awhile afterwards - milk just made me so badly congested that I'd get choked up after eating foods. Finally found out it was the pasteurized and homogenized "store boughten" milk that was the culpret (see www.milksucks.com and similar sites.). I switched to almond and cocoanut and those types of vegan milks and that works. Later I discovered I could get by with raw grass fed dairy but even then, only in smaller amounts. Really if I do anything at all, it's best for me to have fermented dairy products made from raw grass fed cattle... - yoghurt, kefir, good quality cheeses, that sort of thing. As it is, I was able to find out a lot of green veggie sources high in quality calcium etc so I did the rest of my pregnancy fine without the dairy...

    Soooo I suspect that I have some "wheat" allergies, probably mostly in the realm of processed flours as the whole wheat products that have not been modified seem to be okay with my system....
