HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAH!!!!
(The birthday girl!)
I met Leah almost a year ago and although we live far (she's in San Diego), we try to get together when we can, and keep in touch through e-mail & online. She's such a great person & I wish we lived closer!
Her birthday was March 18th, and we celebrated it on March 29th with some of her other friends: Marcy, Jessica, and Kelly.
Leah had the perfect idea for her 3-0 birthday, Glen Ivy Hot Springs Day Spa!
Glen Ivy: Has 11 aceres, and over 15 areas to enjoy. The Grotto (body moisturizing expierence in a cave), Natural Mineral baths, Lounge pool (with floating beds), Lap pool, Vista Spa (great view), Saline Pool (epsom salt soak), Terrace Pool (covered with trees), Club Mud (red clay mask pool), Massage villages, and more!
All 5 of us started the day off with a 50 minute Sweedish Massage (Oh it was wonderful after the half marathon the day before!).
After our massages we laid out by the pool:
Then had some lunch, and Marcy made a wonderful chocolate cake!:
Took a visit to the vista spa:
Enjoyed the mineral baths:
And for my favorite part, the mud bath:
Dont we look beautiful all muddy!?!?!
And finished with a saline soak!:
We had such a wonderful time, and Leah enjoyed her birthday so much!
