what is working

Well I went on vacation for a week I did not gain or lose. I did eat out a lot. Eat things that I normally would not have. I think what kept me stable with the weight is that my sister and I did a lot of walking. you know what they say about vacations "it is to get away but even better to come home". I had a lot of fun but I missed my bed.

Now that spring is here the snow is almost gone I can start working in the yard and I know that always helps to jump start the activity. Fruits and veggie in season are fresh and cheaper . I always like to eat out of the garden, this year we are trying a few new things to plant I don't know how it will work but we will see this fall.

I am walking outside more. some times Leaha will want to take a walk 2 or 3 times a day which helps yet our walk unusually are much slower and several stops to look and the water or a bug or some kind of wild life. You know little ones are distracted by the littlest thing. I think that is why I like our walks so much. Seeing the world through her eyes. You can see so much that you once had forgotten.

    A slower pace isn't always a bad thing. You are exercising your mental health by taking time to smell the roses. Don't you just love this time of year?
