the first week..

It's been tough getting motivated to go to the gym in the mornings when i've been up late studying the night before.. finals are tough for me because I usually snack when I'm stressed, especially on sugary sweet foods and candy.
Although I haven't met my goals for the week, I have started to become a lot more conscious of the foods I eat and the amount of water I'm drinking. I think the best way to stay on track and not get overwhelmed is to take everything one day at a time. My goal for this week is to exercise at least three days of the week and drink all eight glasses of water everyday! While searching through the site, I came across this thread where the members of the spark group were taking pictures of themselves every week to visualize their results. I think this is such a GREAT idea!! I mean, I only realized how much weight I've gained by the pictures my friends posted online of a recent vaca to the island together. It would be such an inspiration for me to see my body slip down as the fat melts away.. I'm definitely going to try this for the next month, feel free to join me!
I know this blog short and scattered but I'll hopefully have time to write more next week when I follow up with my progress! Byee for now =)
