March Madness 2009

This March Madness doesn' t have anything to do with basketball. This is the next journey I have decided to go on. March marks the start of a new, healthier me. I have decided to pick up the slack to get beach body ready for summer.

After researching calorie cycling, I have decided to clean up my diet and follow the cycling guidelines. This is day 3 and so far, so good. I've been able to follow the daily calorie limits without feeling deprived. I have been eating lots of fruits, veggies and lean meats. I have really limited the carbs I eat and hope I can continue on. I hope to drop some body fat by doing this to show off all those hard earned muscles underneath.

I have tried to drop my cardio down to 3 days a week with more strength instead. I may have to adjust this as cardio is the one thing that helps me clear my head.

The average person might think this is all "madness" to go to such a dramatic change in diet and exercise but I am determined to tone up and shape up before summer. I can do this!
