Let me assure you, working out with weights has not suddenly become sexy or motivating for me in the last week. But I still do it. I keep chanting to myself, "if I keep doing what I always did, I will keep getting what I always got." What I got was a lot of NO PROGRESS. The only way to keep the scale moving the way I want is to continue to make changes to my life.
I used to hate the elliptical too, and now I love it. Surely some day I will love weights, right? I say, RIGHT? (cups my hand to my ear hoping for an affirming response)
I am still alternating every day. One day on the elliptical, one day with the weights. If I'm whining about it again, guess which day today was? ha ha!
