Sad news and happy news all in one blog. I heard about that plane crash on the news. It was such a sad thing to think of those 3 families that were killed. And then to realize that one of them was the dentist you spoke so highly of and who seemed to be such a wonderful man just makes it worse.
I'm happy for you about the new baby, though. Congratulations!

The story of your dentist's plane crash and death in Montana was on the national news. That was so sad it brought tears to my eyes. But we have to believe that God will bring good out of tragedy. God is our strength, our rock. Take care of yourself. You are so dear to me.

Wow Ruth, What a day in deed!!!!
Sometimes my teeth get sore, (just gritting my teeth and hanging in there), when days are like this.
Sadness and Blessings go hand in hand I guess.
I will say a prayer for you right now!! Just keep hanging in there, things will be better.

    Dear SparkFriend,

I'm so sorry to hear about all the sad news that suddenly tumbled into your life - - and also very happy to hear about the new Blessing that awaits the family in a few months. Praise the Lord!

Allow me to share some uplifting words of faith from a dear friend of mine who lost her son last year in the Iraqi War: ". . . hang on to the promises. Our God is good! All the time! Even when it hurts!"

As hard as it is for us to learn about and accept the deaths of loved ones, we must stay focused on the great promises of our Lord - - and keep our eyes focused on the Second Coming, when all tears will be wiped away and we will reunite with our loved ones in Paradise.

Love and Prayers and Happy Congratulations too !!!
Margrit
