I haven't lost much weight yet, but I definitely notice that Sparkpeople is teaching me how to be healthier. I know I'm eating more fruits and vegetables than I was before, and healthier protein too.
I'm also learning to enjoy how my body feels after a cardio workout, or lifting my teeny 3lb dumbbells. Learning that the ache the day after lifting weights is a good ache. This is wierd for me - I'm normally pretty lazy, and this is turning my world upside down a little. In a good way.
I'm more in touch with my physical health than I think I've ever been. And I gotta say - thanks to everyone at Sparkpeople for the resources.
