I started my journey with a short term goal of losing 24 lbs. in 12 weeks. I did it, with 3 weeks left!! I have been walking on the treadmill about 3 days a week and strength training training 2-3 times a week. I would like to go more often, but due to my work schedule and my sons activities, I am not able to just yet. I have been eating healthier, drinking more water, trying to eat more vegatables and fruits. I have a lot more energy, I have been able to go outside and play ball with my son. I sleep better and just feel better all around when I exercise. I have tried all kinds of diets and this plan with Spark People and my new nutrition class had really been an eye opener. You don't have to give up all your favorites, just eat them in moderation and proper portion sizes, and get up and get moving, whatever exercise you decide to do, it doesn't matter, just do something! I am going to make another short term goal of 24 more pounds in the next twelve weeks and to exercise 4-5 days a week, even if it has to be at home or getting out more with my son.
