The MUFAs diet is working good for me (lost another lb). I'm loving this dark chocolate. And olives - Oh yummy! This week I worked on Strategy #1 of the '7 Stress-Busting Strategies' - GET MORE SLEEP. Not getting enough sleep causes your body to store fat, slows your metabolism, and makes you eat more. Your body must have enough downtime to revitalize and replenish. The author urges: if you do nothing else on this list, put sleep at the top of the "Flat Belly Diet" to-do list.
We had some excitement on the freeway Saturday. On the way to a retirement seminar, someone intentionally tried to run us off the road. It was so scary I cried. Since having shingles the stress makes me hurt so much, so Sunday I was down too. At the seminar they talked about life, and death, and planning, and wills, and being prepared. Really makes you think.
This week I worked on organization and inventory of my yarn stash. I found an old challenging pattern I want to try again. It's a cool cable seed stitch top.
