So I brought a Lean Cuisine turkey breast meal for lunch today - 260 calories. But the cafeteria is making "Walking Tacos", this crazy concoction of taco meat mixed with a bag of Fritos, sure to be accompanied by cheese and sour cream. Some might think that sounds disgusting, but the hallways are full of the smell, and it's seeming so much more appealing than my Lean Cuisine. I'm trying to feel virtuous, but inside I'm really wondering if I'll ever get over my addiction to junk food.

You're doing great, Anna! Of course, you'll get over your addiction to junk food. Sometimes it helps me if I think "how am I going to feel in an hour if I have the junk food?" and "how am I going to feel in an hour if I don't?" The answer to the first question is usually "bad" and the answer to the second question, "good."

Of course, it also helps (for foods like the taco concoction) if I imagine the plaque building up in my arteries. But, this might just be a weird side effect of my job ;)

oh noes! The scent of a warm meal is so hard to turn away from! =)
Perhaps you can eat the meal you planned to eat and prepare a healthier version of the cafeterias fare for dinner so you won't feel deprived?
You could use ground turkey, whole wheat tortillas, and some copy cat type of chip(they have these baked polenta chips that are just like Fritos at my health food store)
Eating your luch will help you feel powerful and fixing your own version will give you satisfaction. Just an idea. =)
