Wednesday, March 18, 2009

Ok, so Im geting a little sick of these overly eager Liberals jumping my case with no actual knowledge to back themselves up. I have started a blog, where I will continue to put my emails, poems, goofy posts and extremely RED opinions! If you would like to read, be my guest! If all you are gonna do is bad mouth me and make rude comments with no backing to them, please just move on.

From WikiAnswers - is Barack Obama Arabic?

Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side, a great-great grandparent. His ancestors on his father's side were Arab slave traders. They operated under an extended grant from Queen Victoria, who gave them the right to continue the slave trade in exchange for helping the British defeat the Madhi Army in southern Sudan and the Upper Nile region.

Our President-Elect's heritage is much like mine but with two important differences; his paternal great-great-grandmother was a 100% African Black and his paternal great-great-grandfather was 100% Arabic. The children from that union married only other Arabs until Obama's father, who lived in Kenya and was officially referred to in Kenyan public records as an 'Arab African' and was only 1/8 African. He married a 100% American Caucasian and produced a son, Barack who, technically is, 50% White, 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African.

From snopes.com

"Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro)."

That enough for you or you want a few more, its all over, because its the truth!

All I would like to know is where you have done your "research". Please show me your cites proving that Obama is 1/16 black and other claims. Spouting off all these claims means nothing without actual cites/articles/links/whatever to actually back it up.

I dont think it SHOULD matter if the man is black or not, but when people base their votes specifically on that, when its not even true, that is WRONG! And I honestly believe (Im sure you will disagree) that is the ONLY reason that man was elected. Like I said, different points of view are what makes this country FREE! I have no problem with people who have different views. I am not telling someone if they really did their homework and agree with Obamas political stance, they are stupid. I never said anything like that. What I said, is people who dont do their research and make uneducated comments irritate me.

I am a political science major. I do my homework on candidates. I also know reliable news from unreliable news. No, I don't think Obama is the Savior, but I do have hope that he can turn this country around. I don't appreciate you thinking that those of us who do not think the same way that you do haven't done our homework. I just don't see why you think its so important that we all realize he isn't black. Who cares?! It has no bearing on what kind of person he is. We aren't living in the 1960s, and I certainly feel like we should all be able to put race aside when it comes to forming opinions about others. Either way, it is my opinion that you are not capable of seeing my viewpoint, and I am certainly not understanding yours, so lets just leave it at that.

I have no problem debateing with someone who actually knows what they are talking about and just out right disagrees with me on how things should be. Different people and different views are what makes this country FREE! I dont however enjoy having people who dont really know the real issues telling me things they have no clue about. Trying to argue the fact that Obama IS black, when hes not, yes that irritates me. People who think this man is the SAVIOR of our country make me angry. There is only 1 savior and its NOT Barrak Obama!! If someone wants to have a friendly discussion about views and policies, Im all for it, and I will be open minded and honest. But I get seriously irritated about certain things people say that are totally ignorant. And by Ignorant, I mean without real knowledge. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge. I dont mean it in a derogatory way.

That's a wonderful idea. However, it still does not solve the root of the problem. In case you haven't noticed, you are going to have to live with "liberals" and you can't just run away from them. I suggest that you develop a mutual respect for other people's opinions and beliefs. You may not agree with them, but to each their own. Also, don't bash other people for believing differently than you. The only reason you got so many defensive responses is the way that you presented your idea. Maybe you should learn from this and instead of going elsewhere to rant, do it in a more respectful fashion. I hate George W. but I didn't post blogs about him and call him and everyone who likes him a Moron. That's just childish.
