I rushed to make and eat dinner before I left for yoga, then someone wanted to come look at our house (we're buying a house and our landlord is trying to rent out the house we're in now) and she blocked me in my garage while my husband showed her around. I finally get to the gym and am pulling the kids and ALL of our gear out of the car when my friend calls and says that she's already inside and the class was cancelled. I didn't even have my gym shoes on since I wasn't planning on doing any cardio, so I couldn't even go in and do some kind of workout. My 4-year-old was so upset because he loves to go to the kids club. Here's hoping Thursday's class goes smoother.
I think I am starting to really get in the groove of my diet. I'm nearing the end of my first full week and am feeling pretty good about it. I have been having a hard time getting enough calories and protein. I bought some snacks at the market a few days ago and I think that has helped with my calories. I just didn't have any diet-appropriate snacks, so I was only eating at meal times and just couldn't hit the 1200 calorie mark. I also started drinking my husband's protein powder and that has helped the last two days with both calories and protein. I'm feeling very confident that this time next week I will be in a pretty good place nutrition-wise.
